Safe Kids Southeast
The Department leads Safe Kids Southeast to prevent childhood injuries—the leading cause of death among children in the United States. Through community partnerships and education, the Department promotes child passenger safety, home safety, safe sleep practices, and other injury prevention efforts. These initiatives help ensure every child has a safer, healthier start in life.
